Camp Anothen’s Introduction to Sports Camp is the ideal starting point for young female and male athletes in grades K through 6th. Whether your child is new to sports or wants to build confidence and sharpen foundational skills, this dynamic two-day camp provides a fun, supportive environment where learning and laughter go hand in hand. The program introduces kids to four major sports—football, basketball, baseball, and soccer—through interactive, hands-on experiences tailored to all skill levels.
Camp Highlights & Benefits
Multisport Exposure: Campers get a taste of four popular sports in just two days, gaining exposure to a variety of athletic disciplines.
Skill-Building Fun: Children learn the rules, positions, and basic techniques, and get to apply their new skills in scrimmages and mini-games.
Teamwork & Communication: The program nurtures more than athletic ability. It fosters cooperation, sportsmanship, and self-esteem through team-based activities.
Confidence Boosting: With encouraging coaching and fast-paced sessions, children grow in confidence both on and off the field.
No Experience Needed: All sessions are beginner-friendly, making this a safe space for kids to try something new or refine their abilities.

We will provide all the equipment needed for training and playing. Please bring a refillable water bottle and a snack. Wear appropriate clothes and shoes for training and playing. Tennis shoes are just fine. You might also bring a towel—either to wipe off sweat or dampen and place on your neck to help stay cool.

Time: Each session runs Thursday and Friday from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM
