LIT Program
At Camp Anothen, growing up doesn’t have to mean outgrowing camp—it means discovering new ways to be part of the adventure. Our Leaders in Training (LIT) program is a Christian leadership program for teens in Mansfield, Texas, where meaningful responsibilities come with encouragement, friendship, and plenty of camp fun. Whether supporting a counselor or working alongside their team, LITs have opportunities to step outside their comfort zones and discover what it means to lead by example. Through mentorship, Bible study, and hands-on experiences, we encourage teens to grow in confidence, take responsibility, and develop a heart for serving others. Rooted in Fun. Safe. Gospel., our hope is that every LIT leaves with stronger friendships, a growing faith, and the confidence to make a difference at camp and beyond.

What to Expect
Who Can Attend: Teens who have completed are 13yr - 16yr. An application is part of the enrollment process.
Hands-On Leadership: Opportunities to help younger campers, assist staff, care for camp, and contribute to team projects.
Mentorship & Growth: Encouragement and guidance from experienced leaders as teens build confidence, responsibility, and teamwork.
Faith & Service: Devotions and opportunities to practice leadership rooted in biblical values, humility, and care for others.
Camp Fun & Friendship: Outdoor activities and shared experiences that give teens time to enjoy camp and build friendships alongside their responsibilities.
